Happy Love Day!

So it's almost THAT day. You know.  Love day! The grand day where you are to show the one you love that you love them. The gushy stuff! Personally, I think it's kinda funny. You should show love for that special someone everyday. Day in and day out by the small and simple things. Don't you agree? Anywho, Im done ranting about that. Valentines day is fun! I can not deny the fact that I love giving and receiving Valentines on love day! 

So for those of you who don't know about my little obsession about sewing paper Valentines each year, your in for a surprise. (see previous post here and here) It's so easy and cute. I think it's fun to join two beautiful mediums together. Paper. Meet cute fabric. Cute fabric. Meet paper. And there you have it. The possibilities are endless! Plus it only takes about an hour to whip a bunch of these babies out. :) Much needed when you have three crazy boys running about! ;)

Materials:

Cute Cotton Fabric (I just used my old scraps)

Scissors

Paper or blank post cards

Matching thread

Step 1: Cut out Cute Fabric

Step 2: Sew onto Paper or Postcard

Step 3: Stitch your Words (recommend hand stitching like embroidery)

Step 4: Glue or Modge Podge to a matching piece of paper. Trim edges. 

TA DA! That's it!
